Many of our guests choose to arrive on-location by floatplane, which offers a short and direct but truly unforgettably senic route into Takla Lake:
- Depart from Smithers, BC
- Approximately a 30-minute flight
- Scenic aerial views of lakes, forests, and mountain ranges
- Direct landing on Takla Lake and just a stone’s throw away from the Sustutdene Eco Resort
This option removes the guesswork and brings you straight into the experience.
By Road | For the Adventurous Traveller
Driving is possible, but requires preparation and awareness of conditions.
- Access is via forestry service roads
- Road conditions depend on the season and the weather
- A high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended
