Our Story

Sustutdene Eco Resort is nestled in the heart of the Sustutdene Traditional Territory in British Columbia, a land rich in Indigenous history and natural beauty. Founded by Alana Tevely, the future Hereditary Chief of the Takla Nation (formerly the Sustutdene People), and her husband, Eric Tevely, the resort is a testament to their commitment to preserving their cultural heritage and sharing it with the world.

The resort’s success is also largely due to the contributions of long-term friend and business partner Gino Mersino, whose expertise has been instrumental in building and shaping Sustutdene Eco Resort into the unique destination it is today. Together, Alana, Eric, and Gino bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for creating a sustainable and culturally immersive experience for all who visit.
