Ensuring A Safe Journey To Sustutdene Eco Resort

Sustutdene Eco Resort is located in a remote and pristine wilderness area, accessible only via active logging roads. Due to the lack of cell service beyond Fort St. James, it is essential to screenshot or print the written directions before you begin your journey. Navigation apps may not work reliably in this area.

For your safety, we highly recommend bringing a CB radio or satellite phone, as well as a well-stocked emergency travel kit. Please be aware that the road is used by industrial vehicles, so drive cautiously and be prepared for rough conditions.
Do not approach wildlife—animals in this region are not used to human interaction, unlike in more developed tourist areas such as Jasper, AB. Respecting their space ensures both your safety and the protection of the natural ecosystem.
